The Enhancing Access to Benefits while Lowering Emissions (EnABLE) Trust Fund was launched at COP27. The fund aims to ensure that marginalized and vulnerable communities are fully engaged in results-based climate finance, participate in the implementation of programs, and share in the benefits derived from them.
The Social Inclusion Strategy for results-based climate finance is designed to provide guidance and references for understanding what social inclusion means in the context of EnABLE, why it is important to support inclusion in results-based climate finance, and how to enhance and measure social inclusion in EnABLE programming.
This hybrid webinar will feature the strategy’s co-authors. They will exchange ideas on how to ensure social inclusion and gender equality is fully integrated in the World Bank’s results-based climate finance activities.
