Postcard from Sumbawa: The forgotten island in Eastern Indonesia

Hidden as part of the exotic middle Lesser Sunda Islands chain in eastern Indonesia, the island has breath-taking landscapes and beautiful seascapes – untouched parcels of paradise offering beauties and thousands of mysteries -. Part of the mysteries in this island, one cannot ignore the historic massive Tambora eruption in 1815 and the story behind the hidden artifacts in Doro Bente symbolizing the Kingdom of Sumbawa in the past.
