Bruno Glaser

Bruno Glaser is professor of Soil Biogeochemistry at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany. His research focuses on i) identification and quantification of soil processes with special emphasis on carbon and nitrogen stabilization and turnover, and ii) management of natural resources and circular economy. He is an internationally recognized expert and pioneer in Terra Preta and Biochar research and technology development with a documented publication (more than 200 ISI Web of Science publications with an H-Index of 51) and project funds record. Furthermore, he is CEO of the small enterprise “Biochar Europe”. He worked in Rwanda, Nigeria, and Ethiopia.
