José Luis Capella

Director of the Forests and Ecosystem Services Programme of the Peruvian Society of Environmental Law (SPDA) and coordinates the activities of the AgroFor Project associated with regulatory and institutional aspects in consortium with GGGI and ICRAF. Lawyer specialized in environmental and natural resources law, and master’s in political science and public management, with more than 15 years of experience in environmental and natural resources law and policy. He is a graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has been a professor of environmental law (natural protected areas, forestry and legal research) for more than 12 years at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) and postgraduate professor at the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina.
