Papa Garba Salifou

Holder of a water and forest engineering degree and certificates in sustainable resource management/climate change, Mr. Salifou Garba is a Departmental Director of the Environment in the commune of Illéla, in the Tahoua region -Niger. With more than 25 years of experience in rural development, Mr. Garba’s expertise lies in strengthening the resilience of rural populations in the face of climate change, fostering restoration of degraded lands, and monitoring and evaluating FLR activities in rural areas. In 2019, Mr. Garba was decorated with the rank of Chevalier in the National Order of Niger and Officer in the Order of Agricultural Merit by the President of the Republic of Niger.
