Thomas Kätterer is a professor in ecosystem ecology at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. His research is focused on carbon and nitrogen cycling in agroecosystems and how these cycles are affected by management. During the last 15 years, he has been involved in biochar related projects in Kenya.
