Laksiri Abeysekera
Interim Country Head for Sri Lanka
Laksiri Abeysekera joined ICRAF in 1998, serving as Deputy Director General of Finance and Corporate Services. Prior to this he worked for the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) in Sri Lanka. Laksiri is presently a Senior Fellow of CIFOR-ICRAF. He has over 25 years’ experience in financial planning, management, budgeting, treasury, internal control systems and the reporting needs of development organizations and the donor community. He is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, United Kingdom.
