Spatio-temporal replicate data associated with Hergoualc'h et al. (2026), “How Does Nitrogen Application Impact Soil Respiration and CH₄ Emissions? An Experiment in an Oil Palm Plantation Fertilization Trial on Peat.” The dataset was collected in Arang-Arang, Jambi District, Sumatra, Indonesia, and examines the effects of different fertilizer doses and application locations on the spatio-temporal variability of total soil respiration, CH₄ fluxes, and related environmental parameters. The supporting information consists of four databases: 1. DB GHG – Contains greenhouse gas flux data collected intensively (over 37 days) following fertilization events in October 2012 and April 2023, as well as monthly measurements from October 2012 to September 2013 for each collar and chamber. 2. DB Nmin – Contains soil mineral nitrogen data collected in February 2016 and April 2016 during periods without fertilizer application. 3. DB WFPS – Provides monthly measurements of soil water-filled pore space (%), taken in the top 10 cm of soil. 4. DB WT – Contains monthly measurements of soil water table depth (cm). Data for December 2012 are not available.
