This video illustrates gender-responsive innovations in resource recovery and reuse for food and cooking energy, transforming lives and landscapes in refugee settlements located in Kenyan drylands. This transdisciplinary work was carried out by CIFOR-ICRAF, IWMI, Penn State University, Danish Refugee Council, UNHCR, UN Habitat and others with support by German Cooperation and USDA-NIFA.
