Asia is warming nearly twice as fast as the global average, and the consequences are already unfolding: millions of lives and ecosystems will be jeopardized if immediate action is not taken. From the coastlines to the highlands, frontline communities are drawing on lived experience, local knowledge and collective care to respond and adapt to the climate crisis. This reveals the social, ecological and political dimensions of climate justice, where collaboration and solidarity often emerge in moments of crisis. Beyond short-term fixes, this session opens space to explore transformative pathways that address root causes and build long-term resilience grounded in justice and shared responsibility.
