Description

The project aims to address key knowledge technical and policy gaps related to forest and land governance, trade in informal and legal timber products, deforestation- related commodity-based agribusiness, wood fuel and ultimately sustainable forest and land use management and improvement of livelihoods. Provide evidence-based policy options in participating countries in order to promote the sustainable management of forest resources which includes production of wood fuels from natural as well as restored forests and other production systems (agroforestry, village plantations, use of wood residues etc.)
