This guide provides some insight into sesbania improved technology for mid-level extension, training and education staff using case studies from Eastern Zambia. The guide is divided into 2 main parts. Part one explains the concept and practice of the improved Sesbania sesban fallow technology and highlights some of its benefits and limitations. This part provides information that will help those promoting the technology to address the many questions that may arise. Part two focuses on the more practical aspects of the technology as currently promoted in eastern Zambia. A slide series which accompanies this guide allows the extension workers to illustrate their presentations.
