The intensive planning priority setting and programme review that dominated ICRAF's agenda for the two years since we joined the CGIAR have helped us focus clearly on our present research and dissemination agenda. Our donors have strongly endorsed our strategy and medium-term plan as well as the positive outcome of the External Programme and Ms=management Review. Our research in Latin America and Southeast Asia became fully operational in 1993 with staff in place.
