Periparturient period defined as 3 weeks before and after parturition represents a period of significant changes in physiology metabolism and immune function of dairy cows Therefore the dairy cows suffer from immunosuppression in varying degrees during the periparturient period Due to decreased.. The most investigators have focused on how to attenuate the immunosuppression status and reduce the incidence of postpartum diseases. This review the most infectious diseases occur during this period which impact the health of the cows and then result in decreasing milk quality. Occurrence reasons of immunosuppression in dairy cows during the periparturient period and the nutritional countermeasures.
