Delia Catacutan holds a PhD in Natural and Rural Systems Management from the University of Queensland, Australia, and a Post-Doc in Sustainability Science from Harvard University. She specializes in policy and institutional research on integrated natural resource management. 

Catacutan has worked with multi-disciplinary teams in various research and development projects in Southeast Asia and East Africa; she coordinated activities of Landcare International and held key positions in international partnerships such as Eco-agriculture Partners, Community Knowledge Service, Landscape Measures Initiative and the CGIAR System-wide Program on Collective Action and Property Rights.
