Valentina Robiglio, nativa de Italia, se graduó con un doctorado en silvicultura en Bangor University en el norte de Gales, Reino Unido. Sus principales intereses en materia de recursos abarcan las trayectorias de uso de la tierra tropical, la dinámica de la cubierta forestal, la intensificación agrícola, los medios de vida de los pequeños agricultores, los servicios ambientales, y la mitigación y adaptación en contextos de pequeños agricultores en el margen del bosque tropical. Antes de unirse a CIFOR-ICRAF fue funcionaria profesional junior en el International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), adscrita a ASB-Partnership for the Tropical Forest Margins.

Valentina Robiglio, a native of Italy, holds a PhD in Forestry from Bangor University, United Kingdom. Her major research interests include tropical land-use trajectories, forest-cover dynamics, agricultural intensification, smallholders’ livelihoods, environmental services, and mitigation and adaptation in smallholding contexts on tropical forest margins. Prior to joining CIFOR-ICRAF, she was a junior professional officer at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture, attached to the ASB Partnership for the Tropical Forest Margins.
