Dr. Anugerah Widiyanto is a Research Professor currently serving as the Acting Deputy Chairman for Development Policy and Director of Economy, Employment, and Regional Development Policy at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) of Indonesia. He previously served as Director of Human Development, Demography, and Culture Policy at BRIN (2022-2025), and the Head of the Technology-Based Business Incubation Centre (BIT) at the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) (2014-2020), where he was responsible for fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship and advancing the commercialization of research and technology.He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Materials Engineering (1994), a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (2001), and a Doctor of Engineering in Systems Engineering (2004), all conferred by Mie University, Japan. Following the completion of his doctoral studies, he began his professional career at the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) Indonesia from 1988 to 2021. He also served as a Visiting Professor at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan, from 2008 to 2015. He has authored numerous scholarly publications, including journal articles and conference papers.
