Anuja Malhotra

Anuja Malhotra is the Policy Manager at the Centre for Policy Design at Ashoka Trust for Research for Ecology and the Environment (ATREE). Her academic training is in Economics, with a specialisation in Ecological and Natural Resource Economics. Her research interests are in Environmental Policy, Public Finance, and the Economics of Ecological Restoration. She currently coordinates the implementation of ATREE’s grassland restoration programs as well as policy advocacy for restoration in India. Additionally, she has experience in community engagement and outreach focused on promoting inclusivity and bringing stakeholders together for action research. She supports ATREE’s efforts to liaison with ministries, institutions, and other relevant stakeholders to influence policy. She has authored several popular science articles and policy briefs.
