
Following the successful 5th World Congress on Agroforestry (WCA2022) in Québec, Canada, the International Union for Agroforestry, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment in Rwanda, hosting the 6th World Congress on Agroforestry (WCA 2025), which will be held from 20-24 October 2025 at the Kigali Conference and Exhibition Village in Kigali, Rwanda.
Under the theme “Agroforestry for People, Planet and Profit”, the congress will feature keynote addresses, panel discussions, interactive workshops, and networking sessions, creating a dynamic platform for sharing the latest research, innovations, and practices in agroforestry. It will also explore how trees can enhance the incomes of smallholder farmers while addressing pressing ecological, social, and economic challenges.
The World Congress on Agroforestry is a premier global event that brings together stakeholders from across the agroforestry sector including farmers, researchers, policymakers, private sector leaders, and civil society to exchange knowledge, discuss best practices, and explore innovative solutions for natural resource management, climate change adaptation and mitigation and resilient agro-ecosystems.
